ABOUT THE SLIDESHOW:
I have created a digital slideshow of my life with pictures spanning the years from birth to age twenty-five. I’ve tried to balance pictures of the harder times in life (surgeries) with the good times (living a “normal” life on Thetis), allowing the viewer to see the obstacles I have overcome step by step and clearly see that I haven’t let my past hardships dictate my future. I’ve also included a number of inspirational quotes throughout the slideshow; ones that have picked me up on days when I’ve felt like giving up on life. The overall message I hope viewers take from the slideshow is simple yet often forgotten. We all get knocked down along life’s journey (some of us repeatedly), but it’s our personal choice whether we stand back up and carry on with a positive attitude.
VERSIONS OF SLIDESHOWS:
I have two slideshow presentations available. A 35min slideshow focused on believing in yourself, designed for elementary school aged children. The second slideshow takes a more in-depth look at my life and contains a number of inspiring quotes. It is 55mins long and is designed for a more mature age group, high school age and up.
PRESENTATION DETAILS:
I give a brief introduction speech and then play the slideshow as it really does speak for it's self. I like to allow for a 15-20min question period following my slideshow. I am very open about my life and am more than happy to answer any questions the audience brings forth. I own my own projector and presenting equipment.
