International Tour to Venezuela ~ October 2008
I just returned home from Maturin, Venezuela where I shared my life story and facilitated workshops for the first time
internationally. It was a wonderful and memorable life experience! I presented my life slideshow to students grade 2-12 at the
International School of Monagas (ISM). Although culture and language differences were potential barriers, it was wonderful
to witness first hand how the message of my slideshow has the same positive affect on all viewers!
It was a pleasure to facilitate some of my new workshops with classes of various grades. I was very encouraged by how the
students soaked up the core life values taught and were eager to apply them to their own lives. It was a wonderful experience
and I am grateful to those responsible for making my first international tour happen! I’d like to think Venezuela is the first
of many countries to come!
